Solidarity brand / Funding contributors to the fight against AIDS

(RED)™ is a brand designed to engage business and consumer power to help eliminate AIDS in Africa. Founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in 2006 (RED) works with the world’s most iconic brands to make unique (PRODUCT) RED™-branded products and direct up to 50% of their gross profits to the Global Fund to invest in African AIDS programs with a focus on the health of women and children. (RED) is an economic initiative that aims to deliver a sustainable flow of private sector money to the Global Fund by giving people a choice when they are making a purchase and currently partners with ten brands – American Express (UK only), Apple, Bugaboo, Converse, Dell, Emporio Armani, Gap, Hallmark (US only), Nike, Starbucks. It also offers Special Edition products including Beats by Dr. Dre, Channel Islands Surfboards, Diptyque, Girl Skateboard, Shazam, Solange Azagury–Partridge, and Timbuk2. Additionally, (RED) introduced FLOWE(RED) – an online flower service in the UK. And with a rock star as a founder, music is in (RED)’s DNA, so they created (RED)NIGHTS -  a concert series that helps save lives.
