Association promoting social inclusion through culture in priority housing projects / Supported by the Foundation (2010)

Founded in 2002 by Pascale Paulat, the association Ère de jeu sets out to educate children and adolescents through culture, with a range of workshops focusing on theatre, dance, music, reading and writing. The initiative has given rise to a number of festivals, from the initial Escapades, to Ô 4 vents and Les Pestacles. The association then used various artistic initiatives to raise awareness in districts and education institutions rated as education priority zones in the 10^th and 19^th districts of Paris and in Montreuil. The most recent project, Fais-moi lire, fais-moi écrire, was a reading and writing awareness programme culminating in a live performance¾participating students were invited to immerse themselves in the texts of contemporary playwrights and reinterpret them in dramatic form. This project was supported by the Fondation Carla Bruni-Sarkozy.
